One of our writers for Jefferson City Magazine, Amy Hoffman, is working with the Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association to open a TaeKwon-Do club specifically for the foster and adoptive care families they work with.
Amy will volunteer as the head instructor, but the club needs a place to train.

We appreciate your help!

Thanks so much for posting this! As it happens, my church, the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Jefferson City, has offered us their building for training. We DO still need help, though. If you or your organization can donate any supplies or funds to buy supplies, including uniforms for the students, we’d love to hear from you! Training and supplies will be absolutely free of charge for foster and adoptive families, and any help we can get will go a long way toward providing a fun, healthy activity for kids who have been through hard times and the families that are caring for them. –Amy J.
