Mid-Missouri Heart Ball-

The American Heart Association's annual Mid-Missouri Heart Ball, one of Jefferson City's elite social galas, features dinner, a live and silent auction, as well as dancing.
The 2012 Heart Ball Chair is Stacy Welling, Vice President of Operations, Whaley's Pharmacy.
The 2011 event raised funds to support cardiovascular research and education. In the past five years the American Heart Association has funded 149 studies at 8 Missouri institutions at a cost of over $20 million. We are working every day to make Springfield a healthy community, improve your family's health, ensure quality health care, deliver emotional support to patients and find ways to end heart disease and stroke.

Jefferson City swimmers will have a unique chance to enhance their competitive swimming skills by working with two swimming champions, Misty Hyman & Eric Shanteau. Hosted by the JCAY Barracudas and sponsored by Mutual of Omaha, the event is a four hour in-water stroke technique clinic for 5-18 year olds.
