I was born and raised in Jefferson City and graduated from Helias Catholic High School before attending the University of Missouri, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in biology.
My path to chiropractic care was personal. Before entering healthcare, I spent about seven years working in landscaping and lawn care. After experiencing a significant back injury, I turned to chiropractic care and was amazed by both the results and how quickly I recovered. It changed the way I thought about how the body functions and performs and eventually led me to Logan University College of Chiropractic, where I graduated cum laude with my Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Since then, I’ve continued my education with additional training in rehabilitation, postural ergonomics, soft-tissue therapies, and Reflexive Performance Reset. After years of working in a multidisciplinary clinic, I decided to pursue a longtime goal of opening my own practice and created Mid-MO House Calls.
The house-call model allows me to meet patients where they are, literally. By providing care in a patient’s home or office, I can eliminate time spent traveling or sitting in a waiting room while also spending more one-on one time with each person. It can also give me a better understanding of how someone’s everyday environment, movement, and routines may be contributing to what they’re experiencing.
My approach is to look beyond the area that hurts and consider the whole picture. Depending on the patient, treatment may incorporate chiropractic care, soft-tissue work, rehabilitation exercises, or ergonomic recommendations. I want patients to understand what may be contributing to their symptoms as we work together toward a solution that restores function and mobility rather than providing a temporary fix.
Outside of work, I enjoy golf and spending time outdoors with my wife and son. I’m grateful to have built my practice in the community where I grew up and proud to continue caring for people throughout Mid-Missouri. There’s something special about caring for friends, neighbors, former teachers, and families I’ve known for years. I don’t take that privilege for granted.
