Dentistry was part of everyday life in our family. My father, Dr. Daniel Teubner, practiced in Jefferson City for many years, and from an early age I admired the relationships he built with his patients and our community. Watching him showed me that dentistry is about much more than restoring teeth. It’s about earning trust, serving families, and making a positive impact that lasts for generations.
After graduating from Jefferson City High School, I attended the University of Missouri before earning my dental degree from UMKC. What continues to draw me to dentistry is the unique combination of science, creativity, and precision. Every patient presents a different challenge, allowing me to use problem-solving and hands-on skills to improve not only someone’s oral health but also their confidence and quality of life.
My approach to patient care begins with listening. I understand that visiting the dentist can be stressful, especially for patients experiencing pain or dental anxiety. I want every patient to feel heard, respected, and comfortable before we ever begin treatment. By taking time to understand their concerns, explain every recommendation, and focus on the details, I hope to earn the trust that is essential to providing exceptional care.
Early in my career, I practiced in Columbia, where I had the opportunity to work alongside several outstanding dentists who became valuable mentors. They challenged me to continue learning and encouraged me to expand my skills, including advanced training in dental implants. Those experiences strengthened my confidence and reinforced the importance of continuing to grow throughout my career.
Returning home to Jefferson City has been especially meaningful. I now have the privilege of practicing alongside my brother, Dr. Glenn Teubner, and our associate, Dr. Grant Bryan, while caring for the community that has always been home. One of my favorite parts of practicing here is seeing patients not only in the office but throughout the community. Those relationships are what make Jefferson City such a special place to live and work.
I feel incredibly fortunate to serve this community alongside my family. My hope is that every patient leaves our office feeling comfortable, confident, and knowing they received the highest level of care.
